Alright, so the kitchen was a mess, and it was my turn to do the dishes. And I was supposed to be at work. And I hadn't phoned the insurance people. And I was late paying those bills. But it was such a glorious summer's day, could you really blame me for taking a chair outside and just stretching out, teasing the grass with my bare toes, lying back in the full heat of summer and just enjoying myself?

Maybe you couldn't blame me, but my flatmates certainly seemed to. I think the last straw was that I finished off all the ice-cream all by myself. But it was a really hot day! I needed to cool off, I did!

Was there really any reason to tie me to the chair and tell me that I was staying out here all night? Or at least until I said I was sorry and made amends. But I know what 'amends' means and it is always horrid. Last time I had to clean the bathroom with my hands tied behind my back. I think this time it'll be something really mean to do with cold ice-cream. Maybe some handsome knight will drive by and come and release me from my unfair captivity?

Every one of the major casinos in town was run by the mob. Mobsters only really had one use for pretty blonde singers, and Carri was a bit hesitant about putting out. Plenty of promise, but not much action.
