The hog shackle- an unlovely term for a very lovely bondage position. Zarina demonstrates it for us as she is locked into darby-style steel leg irons and hand cuffs, looped together behind her back to turn it into a hog tie! The silk scarf gag, of course, is just a little extra touch!

We had a members' request to shoot more sets with a single glove. I only actually own this one, and I'd not used it for a set before. So Amy and I scanned the storeroom and spied a lovely satin ballgown. Mmmm, satin... :-)

Hywel's Note: sorry that the purples aren't a great match. They looked almost the same hue in real life but digital cameras struggle to reproduce rich purples and they've come out as wildly different. Sorry about that!

The Violet Wand

Ariel had been doing pretty well on her foot torture day, and it had all got pretty intense... so I decided to let her have a break and a bit of a sleep. In bondage, of course. Don't worry, I'm not going soft in my old age ;-) Besides, the next thing I had in mind for her would look a lot more spectacular after dark, when you could really see the sparks fly. Literally.

So it was out with the violet wand for a session of spark therapy on Ariel's soles!

I thought I'd wish you all a Happy New Year with the most fun set involving the most people from everything we shot in 2008! This was on our Sweden trip and we'd promised ourselves we could go a bit mad on the last day and do a set with all five girls in bondage! We needed all four of us to rig- you don't want to be doing a hogtie on five girls one at a time, by the you are done with girl five, girl one will need to come out! So Steve, Merlin, Svampen and I all mucked in and helped tie the girls up. Then Steve rushed around taking the shots, Merlin took some behind the scenes shots of us all making fools of ourselves, and Svampen and I held the giant reflectors still in the breeze to fill in the shadows a bit.

I doubt you can have as much fun viewing the pics as we had shooting them, but I hope you give it a good go!
